Matching.

I started my journey in July of 2010 by answering an ad of a couple that was looking to begin a family through surrogacy.  We became close and started the process.  Unfortunately after six months of working towards the goal of creating a baby, the couple decided that they were not emotionally or physically ready to move forward.  I respect that they were able to come to this decision sooner than later.
The morning after I was informed that the previous couple was no longer moving forward, I was contacted by the nurse coordinator(NC) of the RE's office.  She told me that she had a wonderful couple that was looking for a surrogate and wanted to know if I would be interested in meeting with them.  I said yes.  I received a phone call from the intended father(IF) a few days later and he gave me some information about their family and we discussed a few basic but important things.  He told me that he had not told his wife about me because she had been out-of-town and he planned to discuss everything with her at dinner.  In the meantime, I sent him a family photo and a copy of a general surrogate contract.

The following day, I received a phone call from the IM and we were able to talk and share some information about one another.  We agreed to meet.  We recently had lunch and hit it off.
