The nurse coordinator called today to tell me that the transfer is on! So much anticipation surrounds the transfer, but first we have to get through the retrieval. I forget that sometimes and I know my IM is getting nervous/anxious/excited all in one! We are hoping for as many eggs as we can get, but it only takes one to make a healthy little baby. We just need one!!! Transfer is set for Tuesday the 3rd of May. I have to leave my house by 5am to make it to the clinic by 7am. Transfer is actually at 8:15am. Both my IM and IF will be present in the room. And yes I will be exposed from the waist down! Don't know how I feel about that yet, I guess I am trying to not think about it...??! I know I am getting excited because I was trying to read a book to relax a little when I noticed that I had read 2 chapters, I had no idea what happened, and the only thing I knew was that I was going to wear yoga pants and a hoodie to the transfer. At least I have that figured out!
Today is the hubby's 30th birthday. He is so blah about it. We are going to a steakhouse for dinner. Last time we were there, he completed the 32oz steak challenge, so we need to see the pic on the wall!
